Class Newsletter 

A Note From Your Teachers…

Thank you so much for our teacher appreciation gifts! We loved them all!

Our last three weeks of school! We have so much to do and a lot of fun planned! The children all did so well on their end of the year benchmark testing! We are so proud of their progress. It is amazing how much they have all grown this year. Thank you so much for sharing them with us. We will continue working on our Ocean Unit this week.

We are collecting cases of bottled waters if you would like to donate for our service project for the month for First Responders.

Math-  We will continue to work on word problems, subtraction and l less and 1 more.


Literacy/phonics: We are working on our long vowel words and spellings.

Please continue to work on sight words each night and read with your child.

·         May 17th: Family Fun Day
May 18th: Last day to donate waters


·         May 22nd: LSGT meeting 5-6


·         May 24th: Hawaiian Day


·         May 25th: Last day of school!


·         (additional fun Kindergarten days will be announced soon!)




We now have P/E on Monday/ Wednesday/Friday. Please have your child wear tennis shoes on PE days.


·         . Thank you for all of the snacks!


·         Please be sure to check your child’s folder daily for important information.


·         Sight words: We will be assessing sight words next Friday. Please be sure your child’s sight word list is in his or her folder each day.


·         If you have not already sent one in, please send in a white 2 inch binder for your child’s Kindergarten portfolio.


·         Family Fun day will be on May 17th. Please plan on joining us for this fun day if you are able.


·         Our school service project for May will be a bottled water drive from now until Friday May 18th to support First Responders. We will be collecting cases of water to donate to our local police and fire departments and EMS station.
