Language Arts

We will be focusing on what makes pets so special. We will talk about living things and their basic needs. In phonics we will be working on words with l blends (black, slack, flap). We will work on details in a story and story sequence. Our spelling words are: clip, slip, flip, flag, black, plan, be, come, good, pull. We will have our spelling test on Friday. Your child has made an AR goal if they are reading and taking AR tests. Please ask your child what their goal is and help them read every night.

MATH

We will continue to work on the commutative property of addition.   5+4=4+5. We will also review that they = sign means the same as and true expressions. For example: 3+6 = 5+4. Please review this with your child at home to make sure they understand all these things. Thank you so much for your support.
